wingbarrett
Hey, im a new member, i found this site while i was at work and just now signed up.I bought a very cheap hookah from smokeing-hookah.com and its started to rust and i wanted to get a good one this go round. Ive been looking around and lurking around in the forum and have decided to go with a KM, but im torn as to what model i want. I have looked at the Hafa and the Tri-metal and have seen alot about both on here, but i found one i like and dont know anything about it really. Its on the hookahcompany.com website and i wish toknow yall's take on it. It is the 36" Signature KM Ice Hookah, http://www.hookahcompany.com/signature_km_...h_3561_prd1.htmIve seen comments about the KM ICE and i am pretty sure they ment this design but not 100%.Basicly what KM should I buy... or any other ideas or hookahs I should look at.I will smoke solo half the time and maybe entertain 3 other people at most. phantastik
AHH i've got a KM ICE, and i LOVE it. although it is a pain to set up at times, ice for the stem, and ice for the base, but it smokes amazingly well. problem goes is that i hear the ice bucket rusts pretty quick, and from what i've experienced, mines starting to rust after 10ish uses. It looks like a pharonie stem with an ice bucket on top, though I'm not sure of the materials here--looks either like plated brass or stainless steel. From what I've heard, most if not all KMs smoke well; from the few I've actually smoked out of, I'd agree, though not with enough conviction to say anything for or against any particular model. MandirnOrange
What most people on the forum will say is that KMs all smoke extremely well. I definitely agree with this statement. I personally own 2 myself, the pharonie and hafa. However, there is debate on whether the ice chamber really will do something or actually just an extra hassle. If I were you, I would definitely go with a KM, but decide whether or not you actually want the ice chamber. But if you do have your sights set on the Signature KM Ice... GO FOR IT!!! it looks like a gorgeous piece and I'm sure it'll smoke well. Good Luck
antouwan
i think the reason everyone here (myself included) has a hard on for KM's is because of the consistency. you could buy any no name pipe out there, and it will probably smoke fairly if not very well (i have a couple of no-names and they smoke just as well as the KM's, at about a third of the price) but with all the money to be made on hookah pipes currently there is also a lot of garbage floating around there - when it comes to a KM you KNOW 100% that you will be getting a better than average pipe that is durable as hell, and they smoke phenominally; long story short, i don't think anyone would say you could go wrong with a KM - especially online, where you can't feel the pipe, look at the ports et al., online a KM will always deliver.when it comes to icebuckets and what not, i would say that it's preference and your money. i've smoked out of a mya modded with an ice chamber, and the effects were completely unnoticeable - do what you want. engineonmute
if you smoke solo often i find small hookahs to be ideal for that. less to clean. i personally love my mya qt! its like 12 or 14 inches mya is another good brand, if you haven't checked it out yet

Easy cleaning makes a pipe last a long time. I have a hard-on for a Bambino, ultimate small, ultimate easy cleaning.
wingbarrett
With current input I am now thinking of getting a smaller hookah, looking at the bambino or qt. With the bambino, has anyone had a problem with it tipping? just looking at the vase and looks like might roll over. I'm also thinking about splurging and buying a small mya and a km... Those of you with mutiple hookahs how often does one of your hookahs just end up gathering dust while you use the other?
Ralleac
If you have the money I don't think you can go wrong with that pipe. I wish there were more KM hoses like that (without the trip stick) available.Just make sure to keep it clean and it should last for a long time. The Syrian is fine, but the QT needs a new hose port because one of my friends lost it (unscrewed it and no one knows what they did with it before I moved.) I'm trying to revive a couple of my hookahs over the holidays, though. I'm going to give them a solid cleaning to clear them out and I'm replacing some old hoses and vases. ToncSTAR
Honestly, everyone over hypes KM's. theyre good pipes but everyone makes it seem like their smoking out of gods vagina or something lol. dont get me wrong because i love smoking out of my KM. all KM's smoke about the same, the different models is just exterior/cosmetic. erufiku
Bambino is definitely a good choice. I have the green one and it's definitely a looker. Hookahjohn has all the colors in stock (way cheaper than what I bought mine for).I use mine with a Razan hose and never had any issues with tipping. Of course it's not as stable as my KMs but I usually smoke it solo so that drunk friends pulling on the hose are not an issue. Also the bowl that comes with the Bambino is amazing. I was briefly re-united with mine but then it cracked on me woe is me!PS: Forgot to mention it, but I've been using mine on a regular basis for more than a year now and there are no signs of rust. Smokes like a champ, just keep the common chamber clean or it will start to ghost after a while But that's not a problem given its size.
