What Style Of Bowl Is This?

Hi,

I'm trying to order a replacement bowl, but none of them online look like mine. Can someone please have a look at my pic and let me know what my bowl is called? And if you know where online I can get this style, that would also be appreciated. I've checked everywhere (including MNH) and can't seem to find this style.

Thats a sryian style bowl and they are moveing away from that style. Mushrat has a whole box at the bar contact him about them.

Male bowls...aka Syrian Bowls. A better design...wish the market would have gone that direction rather than the Egyptian (female) direction.

Yeah, what does make that a better design? Less chance to fall or something? Cause I've had my Egyptian bowls fall off one of my older hookahs. It was a sad day, especially since I didn't have any replacement bowls.

Odd as it seems one of the strong points I see is avoiding bowls cracking. Have you ever pushed a bowl onto the top of the stem firmly only to have the side of the bowl crack from the stem pushing outwards on the bowl? I havent seen it happen with anything other then egyptian bowls yet, but it seems like a syrian bowl would seal better as well just in general.

one of the things is what victim said, also, some tobaccos are very moist and when you add the heat of the coal it makes the juices very runny, depending on your setup, this could make the egyptian heads lose their airtight seal - this will NEVER happen with a lebanese/syrian style head
