Zyram
I've always had trouble with Coco's on my glass bowl from MNH, the bottom of the coal goes out. Use a windcover, you've got to give the glass bowl time to heat up in my experience, and a windcover will help with that big time. Just set it up, put on the wind cover, leave it 5 mins or so, taking a few pulls to keep the coals going, and just allow it the time to heat up. What kind of tobacco are you using?-Z
mattarios2
he said AF, which should get going pretty easily.
consortium
Still no luck I think the problem may be the coals dying but I would love some feedback. I also think QL's may work better with a glass screen as they keep themselves lit?Edit: a windcover is not an option as the bowl is a "tower" and it's a km Edited December 27, 2008 by consortium
Victim026
Using a windcover with a tower and a km is possible with one of two things. 1: Take 2 windovers and chop off the top on one and connect them 2: use tongs to prop up the windcover on the ash tray to get the windcover up higher. consortium
Awsome! I'll try that are there any 2 windcovers you reccomend for this project?
Victim026
Well any set of windcovers will work as long as they match and are the same size. The tough part is chopping the top off of the windcover, I had to buy a diamond cutter for my dremel to get the job done, although depending on how the windcover is made it may just take breaking some little welds.
