you shouldnt need to pull so hard. you have a KM and nammor. the combo is really smooth since the pipes on the hose and shisha are so wide.

It should feel like regular breathing with just a tad resistance. kinda like drinking milk from a straw, not like water, but no where close to a milkshake.

perhaps your foil is sticking to your phunnel inlet.

I envy you, always wanted that warwick. It melts me everytime I play it at samash. It's actually my favorite sounding bass everrrr I've played lotsa basses. I have had my bass since I was 13 I just never had the money to poney up and get sweet bass that I want because they are so expensive the ones I absolutly love. Soo I just try and smack the best sound out of it smile.gif Edited by newjacksm

My friend has a G&L and it's amazing, but still warwick basses just hold something in my heart.

G&L's are pretty bad to man, I have always wanted one of those as well, but I figured I have enough basses as it is.

Like you said though warwicks are just the shit. might have something to do with the "growl"

Well well, more bass players, whatcha runnin in the rest of your rig dafunk? I've got a Fender Jaguar bass, x2 Fender '62 Reissue Jazz Basses, and a highly modified Fender Geddy Lee Sig model. I run it all into a Genz Benz GBE-750 with a pair of Genz Benz Neo series cabs, one that's a 2x10 and one 2x12.

Seems like you know what your doing there Victim. biggrin.gif

Well I have a really old school washburn 4 string (first bass), a 4 string ibanez btb, my warwick 5 string corvette, warwick 5 string fretless thumb, and 6 string streamer stage 2, as well as my Michael Kelly 5 string phoenix acoustic.

For noise makers- I have a SWR Triad which is a 15", a 10" and a high compresion horn powered by a SWR 350 X, and I also have a SWR Goliath which is a 4x10" which is powered by a SWR 750 X.

If you cant tell I like Warwick and SWR, just a sexy combo that cant be beat IMO.

As for effects I use a Electro-Harmonix Big Muff Distortion pedal, and a boss envelope filter (funk-wah, not made anymore....damn you boss!)

Nice setup there with the Warwicks and SWR's, I had a SWR Red Head combo(that I was crazy about) that fell victim to an accident ending it's death which I replaced with all the Genz Benz gear. I've always thought about picking up a 350x if I saw one for sale locally used but that opportunity hasn't arisen yet unfortunately. Got any pics of the the 6 string streamer?
