Anxiety
so i bought 3 packs of tangiers, tropical revenge (amazing) kashmir cherry (also very good) and nectarine. tropical revenge and kashmir cherry took about 16 hours to acclimate, smelt amazing and smoked even better. but for some reason nectarine just wont do it. i acclimated it for 3 days, it still smells like soy sauce and when i tryed to smoke it, smoked like soy sauce :x any tips on how to get it going right? Stuie
i would try sealing it up and acclimating it a few days later.

modisess
maybe it just takes a bit longer? I acclimated some lucid raspberry for about 3 days as well and it didnt do nothing, now i just started to acclimate it again after leaving it sealed up for a few weeks. been a day now, no change at all yet. mattarios2
Some flavors are just more finicky than others, sealing then re-acclimating is a good idea. My blueberry acclimated for like 9 days and still smelt horrible. So i sealed it looking to sell it to someone. When I reopened about a week later it actually smelt better than when it had acclimated for 9 days. Tang is a mysterious shisha for sure.
AmunRa
QUOTE (Stuie @ Dec 28 2008, 02:39 AM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}>i would try sealing it up and acclimating it a few days later.Bump. I tied this with Kashmir Cherry (Lucid) and it worked. Also works with red tea flavor.
