Difference Between 50g/100g And 250g

I kinda think so.

I know FOR SURE Layalina has that horrible problem. The last 50 gram pack I had was horrible.

Agreed. Out of the last 3 50g Layalina Boxes I had (B. Apple, Strawberry, and Vanilla), the B. Apple is the only one that had flavor. The Strawberry and Vanilla both smelt fine but tasted like nothing.

i think the reason why people think 250g tubs have more juice than 50g packs is because there is more tobacco and juice in a 250g tub so there is more juice available to settle at the bottom compared to a 50g pack.

Sounds right to me. I also recall hearing somewhere that companies make 50g packs first, off the top of the batch, then the bigger ones (250g and 1kg), so there is more juice in them.

i would say yes, every 250g i bought was very flavorful (especially Laya) but the 50g packs seem to be hit and miss, mostly miss. You would think they would use the same method for all the tobacco, but it seems the 250g are better.

That is often true simply because 50g's are pretty much always wrapped in plastic and put in a box, whereas 250's are usually wrapped in plastic, sealed in plastic, and put in a jar, or sometimes a box. 50's just aren't packaged to be as air-tight as 250's usually are, so they tend to dry out more with age.

At least that's the way it seems to me.

Replace strawberry with peach and I had this EXACT problem.

from a hookah lounge owner that sold fumari back in the day. Don't get the kilo, its the least tastiest. go for the smaller batches.

From marketing stand point. When someone is going to try a flavor ot see if its good. Usually they get a 50 gram. So you want to use your best stuff so they like it and buy the bigger batch.

Also from a pricing stand point. smaller boxes cost more, are sold for more, so typically you would expect higher quality. The larger the product purchased, the less expensive it is, from a per piece/weight. This is standard in production and sales. Take soda for example the best tasting is going to be the 12 oz cans and the 20 once bottles liters and two liters tend to be lower in quality and more like to have taste divergence.

Quite a few of the opinions make sense to me, but I must say my 2 cents would be on what AKammenzind said as to the packaging of it...because although the quality might hinder on the price of the box etc, to me if you have a product like shisha in different quantities then it should be the same product in those different sizes with the exception of it being different sizes...

So to conclude, I rate that shisha companies don't specifically take the juicier baccy for the 50g boxes or the 250g boxes, because they could get shit for inconsistency...however if it just dries out a bit due to packaging then it is obviously not intentional....so I rate it is more the luck of the draw and when it is made......

Just my 2 cents...

Ive watched plenty of How Its Made on the Discovery channel to know that factories that mass produce anything like food, soda, shisha, etc. they make one LARGE batch and then seperate to package. So soda is the same in a can, plastic bottle, or glass bottle. Same with shisha. They dont make one batch just for 50g boxes and then another for 250g tubs, it would cost too much to make more than one batch at a time. In fact, some companies make the main product for them; i.e. cookies, one company makes HUGE f-in batches of cookie dough then send it out to a name brand to bake the cookies and package them. So some shsiha brands buy the tobacco already washed, cut, and flavored; then just package that tobacco into smaller baggies and then put that baggy in a container.

Im not claiming any brands do this, Im just saying it makes more sense this way.
