MechAnt
Think saw dust.Think saw dust compressed very tightly. Take that with some "binding agent" and you have yourself some Exoticas and most other natural finger coals!
mushrat
saw dust??It's charcoal that has been powdered, a cellulose binder has been added to keep it's shape. The whiter the ash, the more real charcoal the less binder i Believe.Saw dust??

That would be like MDF wood and you're not supposed to inhale the fumes of the glue in it as you refer to as "binding agent". Im pretty sure its just charcoal dust. Damn you MUSH!!!!!!!!!! indian_villager
They just make lump charcoal powder it, add a binder, and then extrude it through a die while cutting every so often. But randomly people have been finding random bits and pieces in them so their QC has been called into question.
