why? although i believe that there were a few too many spoilers on the damn things before, i got to go to the special collection meuseum in munchen and saw a line of the last few years of BMW-sauer F1 cars and there was a different spoiler popping up every 6 inches on the damn things.

i know, however its pretty easy to mold all the parts like the front and rear spoiler and intakes to actually give you the right amount and distribution of downforce and drag reduction, BMW just gets nit-picky

everything that is put on the car is for a reason and has been wind tunnel tested and serves a purpose. one of the great things about formula 1 (up until this coming season i guess) is that no two teams cars are alike and it is really cool to watch inside grand prix and see how all of these tiny parts affect how the car performs. what other body of racing has ever tried a 6 wheel set up ? granted it didnt play out how the teams wanted it is sure as hell cool to look back and see how all the teams have tried to get the most out of their cars. i personally fear that this is going to be the end of a golden era of formula 1 and i also fear that they may end up racing on a bloody oval track instead of street courses

i cant believe all these companies are pulling out of sports they have such a big part of, half of subaru's image came from how badass rally is and how people want a rugged rally car they can drive every day, ferrari threatening to drop out of F1 is ludicrous and audi and porsche out of ALMS is rediculous

Alot of the drop outs are not permanent and they might rejoin once the US economy shapes up (cause it clearly affects the rest of the world, Japanese automakers are down in production and sales, and euro companies arent seeing increases in sales with the exception of BMW and the M3). I hope this is the case, because I'm, begining to loose faith in auto racing.

In lighter news, Honda F1 was bought by some rich dude thats putting Bruno Senna in biggrin.gif Long live the Senna name!

lol i wasnt saying they really are i was just giving an example to how subie leaving wrc compares to other companies and motorsport. i highly doubt ferrari will ever drop out of formula 1 because it is too big of a selling point for them, when my dad bought his 430 every other word was formula 1 derived. damn i just realized how much i miss that car sad.gif

Yea, Honda doesn't necessarily have the best track record.
