HighQuality
Hey, I'm about to purchase my first hookah, after smoking my friends and being to a couple of lounges. I need to stay small because I gotta hide it in my dorm. I came to the conclusion that I should get the Mya Razo 12''. Now I am just curious to see what other accessories I will need to get this up and running. I know they give you everything for free, but are there better choices? (coal, bowl, hoses)? Also, does the base color matter, I mean if I get like black would it be harder to see the dirt when I clean it out? I'm stuck between green or black.Mya Razo w/ heba diffuser: http://www.hookah-shisha.com/store/pc/conf...?idproduct=2338And I'm getting a set of hose plugs. :http://www.hookah-shisha.com/store/pc/viewPrd.asp?idproduct=532Also, does anyone have any opinions on the Mya Razo? Is there something better for that size? Edited January 1, 2009 by HighQuality
modisess
if you like the look of the mya qt, then i say get that. it's much more cheaper and smokes wonderfully.also you might want to get a Nammor/Razan hose to go with the hookah, large hoses really does enhance the smoking experience. natural charcoals is a must for any great smoking experience, check out the coconaras or exoticas.if you want it, then get a phunnel bowl as well. it's a great investment.as for the tobaccos, my personal recommendations are Al Fakher (mint, eskandarani apple, caffe latte.. those are my favorites btw), Fantasia, Layalina and Nakhla. HighQuality
Should I get a large or small nammor hose? I know you said large is better but does large refer to the size of the hose or the size of the hose where it attachs to the stem (idk if thats the right word)?Should i get mouth tips? Are they just to be sterile or are they required? Also do I really need a velvet cover for the hose? Edited January 1, 2009 by HighQuality

No mouth tips are required but you may wanna keep some around if you've got germ freak friends that are scared of putting there mouth on the hose after you. Although I'm not sure that mouth tips even fit the nammor hoses. And no you don't need a velvet cover for your hose, that's strictly for your own aesthetic purposes. HighQuality
What else should I get? I'm at 178$ and kinda wanna hit $200 to get the free Min Mya Hookah, so I have one at home and at school.Should I bulk up on tobacco and coals? Can tobacco go bad? Edited January 1, 2009 by HighQuality
engineonmute
tobacco shouldn't go bad as long as you keep it in an air tight container, and not in the fridge. mix it up to get the juices throughout it whenever you decide to use it. as for coals, id go with coconaras or i also hear exoticas are really good. if you're gonna get quick lights, get 3 kings and throw out those nasty romman coals that are gonna come with your hookah on that site. cb1021
you should get a bigger shisha pipe. get someting like 30", then you get proper pipe you can smoke for a long time. these dinky 12" ones dont really suffice after you know what is going on with shisha, you'll want a better pipe instantly. THese smaller hookahs are still amazing hookahs and a large 30" pipe is by no means necessary. JUst like any other hookah once you know your setup well enough you can get good clouds out of anything, yes the pull is a little harder on my QT but I can get KM clouds out of it with ease now even after owning it only a week. Stuie
Razo is a great Pipe. You don't need plugs. The multi hose Mya's are autoseal. It doesn't say it but verifiy it with H-S on Live Chat. You won't need a plug.Things to add to your order to make the $200 Mark.Nammor HoseCoconarasNakhla TobaccoSmall Phunnel Bowl

Victim026
I would skip on the phunnels, at least form hookah shisha, they are larges and hold like 80g of tobacco.
engineonmute
coolin case you dont know tho, you're gonna need a burner for those coconarasif you dont have the right stove top, walgreens sells single burners for about $

Basically, turn it on, set the coals and go prepare your bowl.
mattarios2
as others said get the coal heater from walgreens and secondly, pass on the heba, IMO it is a waste of money, unless you wanna smoke and watch movies without the bubbling over powering the sound of the movie. In that case get the diffuser or you could make your own, check out the DIY section.Other than that looks good.
ToncSTAR
wow. thats gonna be a good set up for someone who just started smoking. my first hookah was a $40 pumpkin, probably 12" lol. and i was smoking al waha. i think the mya hoses hit pretty well on their own already. but hey if you can afford it, go for it. grats on the 2 brand new hookahs. smoke up a storm now

HighQuality
Thanks for the tip on the burner. I just wished I ordered this earlier in the week, because now I have to wait longer because of the weekend. Shipping was like $150 for overnight so I went with ground for $15. 3Day shipping is 65$, but ground also takes 3 days.... how flawed lol.
