modisess
Ok, so mostly now I've always been smoking fruit flavored tobacco, and well, I'm getting pretty sick of the super candy taste from most of them. The only fruit flavored that I am really stoked about is Al Fakher's Esk Apple and Fantasia Rasp Lemonade. But the rest, ugh. That's all I can say.So I am thinking about stocking up on some more tobacco in the near future and I am looking out for non-fruit flavors. I am really liking the AF Caffe Latte, and I'm pretty excited about trying out other non-fruit flavors. What are your reccomendations? Im looking for a more earthy flavor. Definitely going to be getting some vanilla, chocolate and perhaps cappucino from AF. Anything else I should be taking a look for? I am open to any brand, Nakhla and AF definitely, but I'm not sure about any other flavors from other brands.
AKammenzind
Nakhla (el basha) cappuccino and rose are good bets. Both are definitely not fruity, but are delicious... and are also great for a buzz. If it's your thing you might want to try nakhla (sherazade) earl grey. I myself ordered some of the Desi Murli shisha from hookah1 the other day, and am looking forward to trying some of that stuff.

Fantasia Pumpkin SpiceAlso from Fusion, even their fruit flavors are very light, so you don't get sick of them. Their Pear, cactus pear, guava, guava rasberry, mango rasberry, and watermelon are my favs by them so far, still waiting to try new flavors. Hippo_Master
Earl Grey is a very strong Tea, it's very floral tasting, and it Nakhla's flavor is exactly like how Earl Grey tastes. Some may get "soapy", but others will get floral tea, it's worth a try no matter what.If you don't like strong spice-type flavors, Nakhla Cardamom will be to powerful, but Af cardamom is sweeter, more like a ginger ale, mildly. HookahHookah 7-SPice tastes like chinese 5-spice, and is completely amazing, and a perfect change.HH Cavendish is also great. If you like Cafe Latte AF, you will like SB Caramel Machiatto(sp). Nakhla Marguerita is very strong, but very good. Less candy fruit, more citrus sour. Tonic Baklava is great.Potion Turkish Delight is a very mellow flavor, but good.AF Chocolate is really good, Tangiers Cocoa is better.Tangiers Kashmir anything cuts the fruit flavor in half, and adds the Kashmir to balance and is always amazing. I hope these help. Edited January 2, 2009 by Hippo_Master

ecaddiction
I know its a "fruit," but Tangiers blueberry is both delicious and has a more real to life flavor. It tastes like blueberry muffins or blueberry cobbler. No artificial taste here.
MandirnOrange
less known, but still really good: afzal pan masala. Its one of my favorites.
MrMoodz
Havana Pipe is very good if you are looking for a non-fruity flavor. It is my new favorite plain flavored tobacco.
jezter6
I'll second Nakhla Earl Grey. Also Nakhla Cinnamon, Margerita, and Chocomint are very awesome.Margarita is a great mixer with fruit to tone it down and make a nice flavor combo. Recommended to me by gaia.plateu - margarita on the bottom, a layer of watermelon, then a sprinkle of Margarita on the top. Great smoke!I also like Nakhla Coffee better than the cappucino. I'ts very strong coffe, and is only good if you like strong coffee flavor.

Great taste, wasn't overpowering at all.AF: Honey and Vanilla are both great mixers, but are awesome smokes alone. My roommate loves the honey, its his favorite flavor out of everything we have tried. Tangiers: K-Peach and Red Tea are both awesome. The Red Tea smoked strange at first, but I eventually got it down and it was spot on. I also really liked Al Waha Cola. Stay away from AF Rose. I'm not sure if anyone else has had these issues, but the stuff tasted like fruit loops and grass. It was pretty gross.
chinamon
i am not a fan of non-fruit flavours but nakhla chocomint is definitely my favourite.
