dafunk5446
So me and Six set up for a trade last week, I was getting rid of some Nakhla Chocomint and Caramel and he said he would trade me for it, I told him to send me whatever he had laying around. Well by time he got my package, I had posted up another trade/sale of a couple vases of mine and a couple hoses. He wanted one of my vases and hoses, and he had a bohemian vase he would trade me for my vase and a hose (since the boho is a fairly expensive vase). So we agreed that would be fine and he would send me out the vase (in a really cool lightning lamp box by the way...), and the shisha from the trade (plus he threw in WAY MORE then he needed to just cause he is a cool guy).So I get the vase and shisha today, all giddy cause I got this awesome looking vase sitting in front of me. So I grab the stem I was planning on using with the vase and get ready to stick her in... Well didnt go so smoothly. The little flared end, on the end of my km, gets stuck in the neck of the vase and wont go in. To top it off none of my stems will fit in there.Problem.... So, what do you guys think we should do? Hippo_Master
"we"? As in should you re-trade your stuff? If he wants to sure, but if he doesn't want his stuff back then it's not his fault. You shoulda measured and asked for dimensions before trading. If that's not what you are asking then I dunno what you are asking. Youc an sand your grommets, or buy new ones. Codename067
Use some sort of oil to lube up the area and pull it out. Must be jammed in there pretty tight. After you do that, sand down your grommet. That's what I did to all my grommets that were too thick to fit. The downstem will not fit into the vase at all. So the grommets aren't the problem. And yes that was more or less the idea of the question, should we trade back our stuff? Figure out a new deal? A sort of what would you do in our situation kind of question.
Victim026
I would say return the Bohemian vase to Logan and see if he has anything else that you would like instead of the vase.

mustang_steve
I would get a cheap stainless stem from sahara-smoke and cut the downtube to fit.
