Had My 1st Smoking Session Last Night.

Recommended Posts

Finally got my order in from Hookah-Company last night so naturally I couldn't wait, I busted into everything as soon a I got off of work.

With the help of some guys in chat I got everything set up much easier than I expected. Here's the setup;

35" KM Ice
Medium Tangiers Phunnel
Japanese Golden Coal
Orange Al Ajamy shisha

The thing smoked beautifully, the draw was easy and I was producing some good size clouds. Although not as big as I expected still pretty decent. I suspect I didn't pack the Phunnel as well as I should have, or possibly not enough coal.

None the less, there was tons of flavor and I was overall real satisfied with my purchase.

On a side note, I was thinking of smoking the 50g's of Nakhla Double Apple I got but the stuff smells kind of like anise. Does it typically have a liccorice taste? Cause if that's the case i'm probably gonna pass then. Also Nakhla seems a lot drier than the other shisha I got, do you need to pack/smoke it any differently?

Thanks guys, especially those who helped me in chat yesterday (if you even remember).

Pack the Nakhla medium tight (Does that make sense? haha) and just to the brim of the center hole of the phunnel.

It does smell like anise but don't worry, that's normal and tastes fantastic. I would say to give it a try and see how you like it.

Use three of those golden coals in a triangle pattern on the outside of the bowl (a small portion of the coal hanging off the side, just a little).

Great choice of hookah and welcome to the forum! Hope this helps. smile.gif
