crzygrmn
Well I just get my beloved Al Fakher in the mail today and strangely enough, as I was looking at my 50 g Banana package, I noticed that the shisha had a 2 year expiration date starting the time it was manufactured. The date they had on there was Jan. 2007. Since its Jan. 2009 now is it still good to smoke? Or should I call hookah-shisha (where I ordered it from) and ask for a refund?Thoughts and opinions would be apprectiated. AKammenzind
Expiration dates on most shisha is pretty irrelevant, although if you exceed it by too much it might get a bit dry. It should still smoke fine, especially if it's AF.
chinamon
it should still be fine to smoke but it is pretty lame they would send you something that has reached its expiry date.ive smoked expired tobacco before without any problems.
Yamin
I just smoked my 07 exp date grape. Tasted amazing and smoked well too.
Voski
I would call and complain and also smoke it. This way you get compensated and still have tobacco to smoke!

no longer welcome
i wouldn't sweat it, i still smoke af produced in 2006 and i think it's better than the stuff produced in 08 Edited January 8, 2009 by HookahJohn
Rayneuki
I'm pretty sure the same rule applies here as to food. So long as it isn't opened, it's cool to eat it after expiration date (on some things.)The current bottle of hot sauce I'm using expired in 04 :]
indian_villager
From what I understand the expired stuff is better than the new batches. Hookahjohn once sold a shipment of all expired AF and it sold out ridiculously fast! And from the reviews it was some pretty good stuff.
dead_lemons
yeah i was at a local shop and PURPOSLY bought a old expired 06 of 250g orange cause the old orange is better than the new orange(in my opinion)and it smoked and tasted amazing. sportsfan6216
This is one of the best posts i've seen in a while just due to the fact that my local smoke shop is selling AF (they stopped carrying it two years ago and are basically cleaning out storage) its dated Jun 06 but the prices are top knotch (i think a 500 gm (10X50) was somthing like 10 buck tops). I think i may just go in there and buy whatever they have left (they are on our college campus and closed for break so i'll have to stop in on monday). I am pretty sure they had like some Watermellon, DA, and Strawberry so I guess we'll see on monday but its good to know that it smokes fine.
