Good 1st Tangiers Flavor

Recommended Posts

Alright, so I'll be heading up to my local Hookah bar/shop today since I've got a few spare bucks. What I plan on getting is 250g of Tangiers, but I've only smoked 2 different flavors, so I want to broaden my perspective.

What do you guys recommend? This will pretty much be all I'll have to smoke until the end of the month so I'm trying to get a pretty tasty flavor.

Also, are some flavors easier to acclimate than others? The Red Tea I bought a long long time ago I was never able to get the soy sauce smell out, acclimated it for like 2 weeks.

I can't say that i can recommend a whole bunch of flavors as i haven't really smoked that many but I must say that all my friends (and myself) really love melon blend. I got the F-line (tho i imagine OG would be the same) and it was pretty much ready to smoke right out of the bag..... I had several friends smell it just to make sure i wasn't crazy but it tasted IMO alot like a watermelon jolly rancher which was pretty awesome.

Damn, I'm pretty sure they don't carry F-line but they have a lot of original flavors. Thanks for the suggestion, I love watermelon jolly rancher, I'll keep an eye out for it when I go.

I love grapefruit but Im not a big fan of tangiers grapefruit. Tastes to much like a flintstones chewable vitamin. Could be my batch but be for warned. I would say go with either Green apple candy, passionfruit, or k-peach (your either going to love K-peach or absolutly going to hate it, if you want to try a sampler let me know and I can send you one out).

I am sure any fruity flavor from Tangiers will do
I haven't smoked any because I am afraid of the heavy buzz it might give me
But I hear that it is worht the money and the flavor is always spot on
I just got in a 250g of Tangier's Orange Soda one day one day ill build up the nerve to try it lol

Grapefruit
Any of the Kashmir flavors: peach, cherry, then apple, in that order
Static Starlight
Horchata
Peach Iced Tea
Marachino Cherry
Chocolate Mint if you're into chocolate

I have 18 different Tangiers flavors in my stash right now, and those are my top pics.

Actually, I really like Marigold, Indigo Flower and Lemon Blossom, too, but those are probably not ones I'd recommend to start out with unless you are really into floral stuff. Edited by GreatPigHookah

I've smoked orange soda which I thought was good but I wanted to try something else.

I ended up with 100g of Melon Blend, been letting it sit out for bout 3 hours now so I'm going to go ahead and try it, it smells absolutely fantastic.

i wouldnt go with blue gumball, its an ok flavor but many people i know say they dont want to smoke it for very long.

i had good luck with orange soda and schnozzberry (but it is the left overs mix so its not always available and it will always taste different). ive had ok luck with lime its just a light flavor, grape im not sure if i had a bad time acclimating it up or if i just dont like it, i can smell a really good canyish grape but it really doesnt smoke well and it has a lot of other smell to it (not BBQ or soy sauce) but i did have a pain acclimating it up

ask the people at the shop (assuming they are not incompetent) as to what seems to acclimate easier there and what they suggest, some times its hard to acclimate stuff in certain areas
