Trouble Shooting Af Peach

Recommended Posts

Hello everyone, I got af peach a few days ago and when I smoke it its great but when I put on a new coal (after the first two get small) it gets unbearably tickley so bad that it gives me a asthma attack. Now I don't know if its me or the tabbaco, please help!

My setup is I sprinkle in the tobbaco cover it with normal reynolds wrap and poke three rings of holes with a push pin and I use three kings quick lights.

Any advice is welcome

I find that sometimes you have to take the coal and have it like 2/3 on the bowl and 1/3 hanging off or even 50/50 sometimes till the little ones burn out completely or you take them off. Since the shisha is already warm from the 2 you started it with it doesn't need quite as much heat to keep going. Just play around with your coal placement and you should be ok.

Af peach is one of my favorite flavors. But, you are right it sometimes does give me the same tickle you speak of. Its seems just to be a more intense flavor, like if you were to smoke straight Af mint.

But I wouldnt recommend using a toothpick to poke the holes.. Tack ftw.. Id say a toothpick is only for a phunnel bowl filled with tangiers.

That is how most of the new AF is, gets tickly because of intense flavor. But if it isn't because of that I'd say less heat for sure. Or bigger holes like other people have already said, smaller holes help keep heat in so further along through your session the bowl heats up a lot and doesn't get a chance to cool at all because the small holes keep the heat in. Bigger holes allow the bowl to breath a bit more.

Also think about it for the second round of coals the shisha isn't as wet so it needs less heat, say you use 2 3k Ql to start when you add more coal you will prob only need 1.5 3K Ql.

well if alot of people are having the issue it is a possibility it is AF Peach, but I don't wanna get the AF boys all over my ass so we will assume it is heat management.

The Peach is def acting up for me hardcore.. I pack the Peach the same way i pack Mint, Vanilla, Orange, and Cherry.. I'v never had a problem with af before.. Its starting to Scare Me!!

I got a 50g pack of Peach and it smokes fine for me, but are you saying AF in general seems to be having problems?

Bummer, I wanted to buy some more I was thinking.

Buy fusion instead, gives a better buzz, flavors don't get sickening and their isn't bad batches. Buy from HJ he will hook you up. With the Discount on his site you can get it for around 12-13 bucks a 250g.

I am done with AF as well.

I have a 250g tub of AF Peach on its way to my house this very moment. All will be revealed when the UPS driver arrives.

My 50g of AF Peach way back when wasn't half bad. Here's to hoping that none of my four AF tubs are harsh batches!

I smoked a bowl of Nakhla and it needed 3 coconara's. I switched to AF cola (my first AF bowl) and I put 3 coals. It started amazing but around the 4th hit it was harsh. I pulled one coal off, aligned the remaining two at 180 degrees from one another with a chunk of the coal hanging off the sides and after we pulled through the harshness it was great.

Now we only use 2 coals for AF and it smokes and tastes great. Keep in mind, this is for cola though, I cannot speak on behalf of peach. And the holes I used were toothpick sized for what it's worth. I have not used smaller holes than that.

I actually just bought a 250g tub of AF Peach about 3 days. I packed it last night in my small funnel and it smoked and tasted great. We had about an hour long session with no problems. Even today when I got home from classes we threw some new coals on the same bowl and there was still flavor and great smoke for another 30 minutes.

Take a look at the production date. On the AF peach I just bought it says April. I bought a tub of AF Lemon about 2 months ago with a production date of August and I get the same effects you do with it. The flavor is really intense and tickles my throat when i try to smoke it. I just use it as a mixer now.

I don't like AF Peach, too unatural and not that good. Try peach iced tea from Tangiers....fusion peach is not that good IMO but I did hear some good things about their other flavours.

Yeah boo to fusion peach i didn't really like it either, if the flavor was stronger it would be good, and yes all their other flavors i have tried have been very impressive to say the least.
