SilentBob
http://hookahcompany.com/easy_lite_hookah_coal_1723_prd1.htmI'm all about getting a good deal, so anyone used these coals? Didn't see them in the reviews section. Though I could suck at using search haha.
UnicornsForBreakfast
I got some about a year ago, and I remember being totally ok with themback then, but recently I lit one up, and it smelled like total crap. I could taste it on the first pull. So friggin gross.
mattarios2
They do smell when being lit, but if they taste funny on your bowl, then you did not let them fully light.Basically make sure they are glowing red, blow off all the silver lining that helps light the coals faster, and they are awesome coals for the money. They give off more heat than your average Japanese coal. For the price I personally think you cannot beat them. Once again I repeat, if you buy them make sure they are fully red or they may impart a taste. When fully lit and used correctly they impart no taste on the shisha. And lastly they are cheap probably because there is a ton of additives to make the coals light faster and burn longer. If you are looking to smoke as cleanly as healthy as possible even though that sounds absurd, go with golden canarys, they give off low heat so it is easy to manage your heat, and are good quality coals or go with coconut coals. SilentBob
are you talking about these: http://hookahcompany.com/golden_hookah_cha...l_1488_prd1.htm ?
TheLazyRussian
I smoked some of those on a bowl recently. 5-10 hits and I was done. The taste of the coal was terrible, and I couldn't even taste the shisha (SB Blue Mist). The aftertaste was still there on my next bowl, and I had to spend quite some time washing my hookah out. Save yourself a bad time and get some better coals.
SilentBob
looks like ill be trying the CH naturals next then
joytron
I got the CH insta lights and if you let them sit for a minute, then they will impart no taste. THey burn kinda hot imo but definately the best quicklites on the market, lasting about twice as long as 3 kings. I have yet to compare them to the CH Natural coals. Scoop
i used to use those all the time. they were only 3.79 a box locally and were decent coal. never had problems. heard quality went down, i did have a crumbly bad box and i got a box semi recently and they were ok (might have been old). indian_villager
Ihate those coals with a passion. They splinter and break even when you are just pulling on the hookah and once I had one explode on me.
blckngld760
I just finished a box of these. I would rather use 3 Kings QLs than these.
