djnick
my 3 hose oddessy from h-s came with gromits on the end of each of the hoses. however i find that its not really necessary as i just plug the end of the hose into the hole that already has a built in gromit. Does adding a gromit to the end of the hose and plugging it into the port with a gromit already ensure a tighter seal? i havent noticed any difference but want to know your opinions
HookahCaterpillar
If you already have a seal in your hookah hose hole and it works well than you dont need a grommit. If it doesn't help or isnt necessary then personally I wouldnt bother with the grommet.
Monil
Hi, my Abyss had the same thing. The hookah is shipped with grommits and the hoses are also shipped with grommits. You basically have spares, you're not supposed to use them both at the same time.
Sonthert
Yeah, use gaskets only when necessary. Use electrical tape to finish making sure everything is perfect (under the gaskets, if you use it.)
