fineout
nahkla is unwashed so its not that surprising that you got a buzz off it, unless you usually smoke a lot of unwashed shisha

GreatPigHookah
Nakhla is the stuff I started on, as did many. Great stuff, and inexpensive. Rarely gives me a buzz anymore, though. I worked this mix up last night and just added it to the review section under favorite mixes...using mostly Nakhla, of course:BaklavaIngredients :35% Nakhla Pistachio20% AF Honey20% Nakhla Cinnamon25% Nakhla RoseSetup : Mya QT, Mya hose, Standard Egyption or phunnel bowl, Exotica CoalsFlavor : This is pretty damn close to the taste of Baklava. The honey and cinnamon are hardest to get right in this mix, because they can easily overpower the other flavors. The rose is subtle, barely noticable. Honey and cinnamon are most noticable, with pistachio lending some nutty, vanilla sweetness.Buzz : None, unless Nakhla gives you a buzzDuration : An hour or so.Smoke : Really nice, thick clouds. I love mixing AF with Nakhla. Nakhla can take the heat and AF bumps the cloud factor up a bit.Overall : I like this mix. It's not my favorite, but it's a unique taste. It's nice when you get a craving but don't have any actual baklava around! Edited January 15, 2009 by GreatPigHookah

In Lebanon they have just a few AF flavs, some nakhla, some old Havana still floating around. In the US you have SB, Layalina, Tangiers, plus the better grades of Nak and AF. Funny, you would think the opposite. I have a relative coming from there at the end of the month and can't wait to introduce Tangiers to him. Nearly every deal 'endorsed' by this forum carries them. Hookah-Shisha, Nazaar, Hookah Company, etc.
srawas89
Thanks hookah john for the heads up. Great Pig I know I can get the flavors online but I am just against buying tobacco online. I prefer to see what I am buying before I buy it. however if I cant find something locally I may resort to online shopping.

srawas89
I do read the vendor review section. I live in Cincinnati, so it takes a while from pretty much any vendor to send stuff my way. The waiting isnt even the issue its just the fact that I dont really like using my Credit Card online and I just cant see buying tobacco online. O well mayb I will get past that one day but for now I will just make sure I cant find it locally first as I can usually get it for cheaper here especially with the cost of shipping and the fact that I or my parents probably know the owner of the shop.
