Lebanese Shisha

Recommended Posts

smoking in a new local shop recently. The owner mentioned a vendor that deals him some home made shisha, some guy out of california. Thinking that he might be referring to tangiers I asked him if it was egyptian and he got snarky with me and said very matter of factly that it was 'lebanese'. Which, I've never heard of a specifically lebanese shisha so I just let the conversation continue onward.

Wonder if you guys have insight into the specifics there.

kind of weird, did he mention the vendors name? also, when you thought tangiers why would you ask if it was egyptian, eric is def not egyptian. i'd like to know, if someone makes something in CA how can it be lebanese? just cuz the guy who makes it is lebanese? I'm lebanese too, try my CH Lebanese coals, hey I like that, I'll start using that.
This is just a bit confusing. Not sure if they even grow tobacco in Lebanon but I don't know of any Lebanese shisha. I'd like to try some though. I think it's in your court to shed more light, thanks

I am assuming the gut meant that the person who makes it Lebanese and he may be using a process that people use in Lebanon when they make their own shisha or something. Whatever the case the guy is probably Lebanese which is why he said that.

didn't immediately think of tangiers. I was under the impression from talking with my friend that all he used was egyptian so when I asked about the brands he carried he said it was a random guy out of cali, I asked the name, he played it off like it was a 'house specialty' as he called it and said that it wasn't really a company that made it it was home made, I was trying to lead him in convo toward tangiers but he got snarky. I'm aware tangiers isn't egyptian.
