i say the suck for 2 reasons, 1) ive rusted out 3 of them 2) nammor/razans and KMs have betters draws, and no handle i HATE holding onto the mouth piece. if you are going to spend 184 on 1 hookah im sure they can spend 20 on a hose. and yes mya bowls are smokeable but id take pretty much any bowl over them

Regular hoses dont last forever. I think that's a given. I wouldnt try to discourage him from having regular hoses for that reason. We all want something that will last. But on the whole, replacing a hose every 3 to 6 months isnt a huge deal. Hookah is an expensive hobby. Just something you have to get used to. Are washable hoses good? Of course. But are they required? No.
