Think I Made A Double Filter Inside My Hookah

So i saw a mod on here which used a film canister to make an easy defuser, and i made one. It didn't fit right inside my Leila, so I cut off the bottom and it fits great now. It makes it so I never suck water into my hose, even if i over fill it.

I noticed something interesting though...smoke builds up inside of the filter, and doesnt come out unless I'm smoking it as seen in this picture:

Thoughts on if this is actually double filtering? Also a thanks to the person who suggested using a film canister; it looks awesome in the Leila, especially with the led on.

also the leila smokes like a dream.
