JDHarding
Just curious if anyone smokes this stuff? I've tried a couple boxes of it and it's okay for maybe 5 minutes, then it just tastes like I'm smoking wood after that.

Stuie
i don't recommend it to anyone. If you like the flavors offered by soex get Afzal, same company but tobacco.

engineonmute
JDHarding, you should check out the review section for soex, if you haven't yet
kbCorruption
Hmmm ... I dunno, I live in New York, so I know the local hookah lounge cannot serve actual tobacco. Yet I go there often and whatever they serve in there hookahs is very flavorful and the flavor lasts throughout the whole session. I assume it Soex or something similar. Maybe they're cheating ... I do get a buzz sometimes
SilentBob
maybe they get around it by calling themselves a private club? a lot of places do that
kbCorruption
I don't think it works that way in New York, they really came down on smoking tobacco in public places. Technically you need to be a certain distance away from a public building to even smoke outside (everyone smokes right next to them anyways). Even if they could get away with it by calling it a private club, you would think they would need some kind of formal application process, which they lack. Erica
BARF.hahaIf you are putting smoke in your lungs... you might as well smoke tobacco and KNOW the side effects.... instead of whatver it is they use in their stuff....
delSol_si
Yuck! There is a local shop around here that carries a lot of hippie kinda of stuff. They used to sell hookahs (not sure if they do anymore or not). My roommate bought a 3 hose from them last semester and we kept asking them when they were going to start carrying shish, and unfortunately, they were not approved for a license or something like that. They decided to start carrying that Soex herbal bullshit, so when he got the hookah, we also picked up some orange Soex just to give it a shot. Horrible idea. That stuff taste horrible and burns like hell. There was about 5-6 people smoking and we passed it around once and after the second round, no one could take it anymore and we tossed that shit out. There were even 2 guys there that smoke ciggs on a regular basis and said that crap burned worse than ciggs. Anyway, it is horrible stuff and I do not recommend it to anyone! Tyler
I actually have the Red Cherry and Orange flavors and I like them a lot. There's a subtle hint of mint in them from the mint leaves they use. I like this brand, but maybe it's just not for some people; although, I've never gotten a wood flavor from it? Tom1
Ah, Binghamton is about two hours away. I was going to suggest going to jersey but with a drive like that you would be better off ordering online.
