mushrat
So, I got the table (still working on that...) before I posted the pictures of the hookah I bought a few weeks before. so..my standard, 34", got it at a local place, Hookah: Yes tangiers..that's also a bottom tray... The vase is especially nice...The spots are etched and then painted... Now all i need is...well..I don't think I need anything else for a while :-)
yashman19
Ooo very cool! I really like the second tray thingy, even though it doesn't really serve as a backup catcher, because its smaller than the top one, but it still looks really nice. And you're right. The gold color leaves look really good on the blue. What do you mean by etched? Are they textured? Or is it smooth but just looks like textured? Looks good regardless. fishdog
really nice! yeah i like the second tray as well...i would actually like a bit bigger of a tray on my current
Sonthert
That definitely looks like a Tangiers bowl on top! Makes even the most meek and humble hookah look regal and majestic, don't you think?Disclaimer: The following message was cited by various law enforcement agencies for being overly commercial. Disregard, at once.[Hey, you're not a cop!][What are you guys doing here?][Smoking a hookah, silly...its not some form of Peruvian fertility ritual!][Why are you, well OK, pass the hose]And the watchdog agencies were forever pleased with their new discovery. They smoked hookah and criminals realized, without police, there was no sense in committing crimes. The fake cop and Eric's two personalities live happily ever after, in a completely platonic way, that is. I know what you were thinking and it is perverse! Just end the post. mushrat
The spots are actually divots cut into the glass. Yes, thats a Tangiers bowl. I told you i'd have to get a hookah to be able to use that bowl because my original hookah has a syrian head configuration. (he thought I was joking...) Thats why I GOT the new hookah in the first place.... The second tray is semi useful, I can rest my tongs on them if i don't want to actually reach all the way to the top. gunsboy
Looks cool. I am very clumsy. I need a huge tray. I am known to leave a mark in every hookah smoking household. Thats why I am making a huge tray for the hookah I am planning to buy soon.
mushrat
Guns: ya..I have a "smoking rug" a mat/rg i lay down over the floor/rug when I'm smoking. It rolls up nicely and I can carry it with me when I take the hookah to parties. So when I drop a coal or sparks fly it hits the mat and not the real floor. One reason the wife lets me smoke inside. JByer323
I picked up a super cheap roll up "yoga" mat for the same purpose. It's one of those woven reed type ones, so it looks good with the hookah IMO, and rolls up well.Plus, it as under $10.

djnick
no offense to your new hookah, but it looks strikingly similar to those cheap hookahs they sell at my local places. Low quality hoses, cheap materials, and they dont hit well. but if it works more power to you

Its relatively simple, but I don't know, it gives me the most smoke out of all of my hookahs..
mushrat
Dj: nope..that sounds about right in the materials and hose department. It's very light for something that size, which is not a bad thing in my opinion if it works, which it does quite well. Its NOT a solid chunk of metal lathed and formed that's for sure.. And ya, the hoses are cheap, when they die..shortly I'm sure...the mya's will go in to replace them. As for the hitting, once I got the metal sl*g that was blocking the second hose opening in the bottom cleared away it hit quite nice. Though I still prefer my 24" in that department. It's a good, utilitarian hookah that looks ok and smokes well...
dizzing
hey, i've seen far worse egyptians... i got a 33" 3-hose from southsmoke, although it came in a box marked Sahara Smoke... i believe sahara makes them, they're called "The Legend".. anyway, that thing leaked worse than anything i could've imagined :)mushrat, yours doesn't even have enough places on it to leak that much, even if it leaks everywhere there is to leak
