I am a amateur web designer, I have built and maintained many websites.

Exactly how much shisha are we talking here? Most websites cost around $200-$1000 depending on how simple it is.

For example, I just made a website for a local car wash company, charged them $450 plus hosting costs. Edited by PhxKarma

I was thinking of starting with 5 kilos of about 65 flavors...not 5 kilos of each, but about 100 grams of all those flavors...and we can go from there

okay, anyways.. I'm interested. I know a little bit about making sites, and it all depends on how complex you want the site.

I want a simple site that looks good, you can see the flavors easily, I will supply all the text for the site, just need a basic built site with graphics..nothing to crazy
hook it all up to a shopping cart..no other items other than my tobacco
a very LARGE 18 or older toll booth.....

Not to get into the flavor issue..... But..... I hate to point out the obvious, but Yahoo will host your site, give you the builder tools free to do it yourself and even handle all the credit card tranactions for the cash register module for about $40 a month plus 1.5% per transaction fee which is actually fair for credit card transactions. Is it going to be a world class site with a ton of bells and whistles? No.... But it's a good starting place and a decent set-up on a budget which you're obviously on or you wouldn't be trading tobacco for web building. Check Yahoo Small Business.

you know what is funny about everyone, you all have your idea on why I do certain things and how you would do them if you were in my position. the web is not going to be a huge money making portion of my company, the stores and distributors who buy my product are my customers and that is simple
I don't want to build a site, I don't have the time or the energy to build this site, so no yahoo is not an option

Ok..now i have to go clear out anything that isnt on topic, smack a few people around, AND deal with the fall out...

You don't like his product, your choice, but do NOT hijack a legitimate thead of his to say so. Start your own thread if you must, but I warn you, keep it civil.

Re-opening the topic. If you do not wish to discuss making a page for him, then pass on to the next thread.
