New Hookah Smoker, Need Some Tips.

Hey guys, i'm new to this whole hookah thing. I'm thinking of purchasing a new hookah, not something too expensive as i am going cheap incase i end up breaking something . I've been looking at ebay and saw some cheap mini hookahs, something like this, Does anyone know if something like this would be good for a first hookah? If not, does anyone have any information on something cheap and small? Thanks !!! Happy smoking everyone!!

For the same price, you can get a "name brand" Mya Saray Acrylic. These usually go for 60 bucks or so.

Also, the base is made of acrylic, meaning it won't break like glass.

Also a good choice for a beginner. I have both the Acrylic one in my post and the QT here. The quality of the smoke is very similar (I probably wouldn't be able to tell the difference in a blind-test). Seeing as you're a beginner though, I'd go with the acrylic just because the vase won't ever break on you.

if you like small hookahs go with a small mya, over the one you looked at. maybe like a qt or bambino. it will be worth it.

Yep, Mya Saray hookahs are definitely THE best chinese made hookah available. I have the Mya QT, which is about 14" tall and it is one of the best hookahs I have ever smoked out of.

Myas are definitely pricey though, but they're built to last.

Yeah, ill probably be getting the natural lites over the instant lite. Another question, I've been reading alot about these new coconut coals, Is there any difference in the Coco Nara coals and the Chronic Hookah coals which are in the package?

CH has still a little ash taste and don't last near as long as cocos, but i recommend eventually trying both to decide what you like best.
