JByer323
Saturday around noon, I emailed MYA Saray, asking him to help me resolve two problems that I had with my acrylic hookah. Not expecting a response that day, I was pleasantly surprised when Mahmoud emailed me back that same day.My problem was two fold. I have had my hookah for over two years now, smoking it every day, and it has been abused more then any hookah ever has any right to be. It’s been thrown into more Jeeps, pickups, canoes, and kayaks then I can count, and has always served me well. I’ve used it when it was 15º out, and when it was 100º. Well, my carrying case’s liner gave out, and the top section came unglued. On top of it, the lock had frozen up, and I had to pry it open, and was no longer able to latch the case. The base had also started to leak, but after what I’ve put it through, that didn’t really surprise me, and that it hasn’t long before that surprised me.Well, I emailed him, enquiring him about the cost of replacement, and to my surprise, he told me to give him my address, and he would send me both a case and base free of charge. He shipped it Monday, and it arrived today, very well packed. These days, customer service like that is unheard of. I have ever said that if I ever open a business, I want my customer service to be based on that of Dillon Precision. I can now say that I want it to be based on Dillon and MYA. I know of no higher compliment I can give.I was looking at buying a different brand of hookah after ApoC’s post, but after some of the comments made my a certain vendor elsewhere on this site recently, MYA will forever have my business. I will order t least two more from him soon.As another note, when mushrat and I were talking to MYA today, he told us that if you called him to place an order and mentioned this forum, he would give us all a 15% discount. You really can’t beat that.So MYA, thank you again for your help, your service and products really are outstanding.-John

ApoC
Actually, for a highly practical hookah, you can get myas just as good as stargates, I dont carry my mya around any more because its worth 4 times as much as my stargate, and its crystal and cloissone, and a limited edition at that! an amazing hookah, but I felt bad packing such a work of art around for regular hookah smoke, hence the aquisition of the stargate. that being said, Mya offers outstanding practical hookahs, the screw on acrylics are a perfect example of this. their products and service are definitely the absolute best overall in the industry, theres no doubt about it. gunsboy
I have been looking for a good hookah .. Your experience with them made me set my mind to buy a MYA. Now I need something not too large and not screw-in. Let me go look at their site ... I will probably order one in the next couple of days or so ... yashman19
^^^ Gunsboy. That picture of the one above with the clear/silver bohemian base is georgous! I know that in the future when I have some money to burn, I definately want to pick up a nice mya like that. I love that style of base. Looks really classy. They have some bohemians that are, and their new line of cloisenee ones do as well, as I recall.I have had no problems getting a good seal from mine. To me, the advantages far outweigh the disadvantages.

gunsboy
So Mahmoud, for $120-140 what do you think is a good shisha ?
Froogah
Gunsboy, if I may interject - the new cloisonne bohemian screw-on Mya, which was announced in this thread here http://hookahforum.com/forum/forum_posts.asp?TID=2682 , is a model that I have just recently purchased and have been very impressed with. It's a little on the steep end of your price range, at 160 dollars plus 10 for shipping, but with Mahmoud's 15% hookahforum discount it comes to 144.50. It's a medium sized hookah, around 23', but smokes just as well as any full size hookah I've ever tried (the same can be said for Mya's QT Mya design, which I also purchased and have been very pleased with as well) and as you can see is absolutely gorgeous. As soon as I get my digital camera up and running, I'll be posting some pictures and a more detailed review, but suffice it to say that I think you would be very pleased with it. It's built like a tank and can be broken down into much smaller pieces and stored in a very nice and compact hardshell case that is included in the package. Froogah
Also, I'd like to chime in regarding Mya's customer service and say that in my experience as well it has been nothing but outstanding. They have always been extremely prompt in answering my e-mails and returning phone calls, and the two orders that I have placed with them both shipped the next day. Froogah
Sorry for spamming this thread - was mistaken about shipping cost - for me it actually came out to 20 bucks. So the total with discount would be 153. My mistake!
