Jeff_T
If you are, I'd just guess about 15% like most other things, unless you're feeling very generous. Never been to a groomer or tipped anyone other than a server, valet or cab.

Tati
It depends on where you're taking your dog.If its like a persons house and they are doing it all themselves, then you dont have to, you are already paying them for it.But if its a bigger place with many groomers, then you can tip the person that groomed your dog.Like 10-15% is good, i guess... TheScotsman
Depends on the breed, my wolfies don't earn tips for them, they are easy to groom, and enjoy it. My collies are working hearders, usually have "farm-stuff" in their fur, and are typical working collies, fast, smart, and aggressive. The groomer hates them, so I tip ok. My Komondor gets them a great tip, if you ever meet one, you will understand why... they threw him out of petsmart.

coplinb
I think you def should tip the groomer, you tip someone when you get your haircut right? why not the dogs? I think you should take into consideration the difficulty of the cut, like if your dog was hard to do, then maybe a little more.
Victim026
I definetly tip my groomer when I take my Yorkies, they are both a pain in the ass to cut perfect so if they both go in at the same time I'll usually spend about $40 on the cuts and I'll tip another $20 on top of that. Of course they both also DESPISE water so it's $10 for the bather and $10 for the stylist.

Bulldog_916
Havent owned a dog who's needed grooming. Had an aussie shepherd lab mix now I own a pitbull lab mix. I still wouldnt tip the groomer unless it's an undue pain in the ass. It's their damn job. They get paid to do a service and they either do it or they dont have a job.
