New Km ...now I Need A Km Hose

Okay I have never tried a KM hose ever. But I bought one. It didn't come with one, not a big deal, but I think now is the time to try one, since I have the KM. So let me know what your experience is with them, which one is better, last's longer, better pull.... Don't really care about color, but if you think it's important the base is Dark Red with Black and Gold embellishments.

I'd say ultimate or extreme, but they dont match colorwise and I'm a stickler for colors so I would say the deluxe from gothookahs in red.

I second what victim said. I love my ultimate. Seems like a much easier pull than the KM deluxe hose that came with my last hookah.

The extreme looks nice though, I still want to pick of one those up. Hopefully HC will get more stock in sometime soon. I've been wanting a blue ultimate and red extreme.

The Premium Black hose came with my KM and I've been using it for about 2 weeks and I like it.

I use a funnel to pour water down it so I don't get the cloth wet.

Pretty sure there's a metal coil in all KM hoses. You shouldn't pour water down any coiled hose...

Thanks for the tip, I wasn't sure. I also use a compressor to blow everything off nice and dry when i'm done though so it's not wet for more than 2-3 mins.

Yeah KM hoses aren't washable, you needa stop that habit right now.

I have an extreme hose coming in and I'll let you know how it works out. I'd say extreme or ultimate but as said before it doesn't really match.

and yeah km hoses can't be washed, I washed one from the hookah who claimed it was washable ... the next day i ripped the sucker open, there is a thread on here somewhere and the thing was already rusted.

Do not wash them, just blow through them after a session and they don't ghost at all.

Mya doesn't make any washable hoses either, they "claim" some are washable, but if you cut open a brand new one after it's been washed once I guarentee you will find loads of rust. And they are even worse then other hoses that claim they are washable as all they do is wrap the metal coil in plastic that just holds the moisture with the coils when you do wash it. The MYA hoses I had would all develop this dusty crap in em. Rust i'm assuming, I left one on the shelf for about 2 weeks and went to take a good hit and got a mouth full of garbage.

Personally I've never had a better hose than the ultimate. But I'd go with the plastic tip-version for sure.

And to answer your question Stuie those aren't anything like a healthy hose. They are just plasic ends with a regular mya hose inside with the plastic wrapped coils as I previously mentioned. The AF Healthy hoses are actually wood ends with corrugated semi hard plastic tubing in between with no outer covering.

I ordered my KM Ultimate and i picked the plastic tips.
Does that mean both ends will come plastic or just the mouth piece?
