BarredLabel
So I'm a Floridian and cold weather isn't something we get too often here and it seems whenever I have a hookah outside in weather below 65 F the hookah gives me problems and is real finicky. I experience harshness, lack of flavor, finicky heat management (extremely finicky actually) and the coals burn out about 25 minutes faster.I'm using a 15-20 gram bowl, I pack in the circular method, only poke holes on the outside, 2 1.5" Exoticas, and use various shishas.can any of you snowbirds help me out here? Zinite
Might be worthless advice coming from an Arizonan, but you can try leaving your shisha out in the open (on a sheet of foil) for a few hours. This would allow your shisha to acclimate to the humidity. I have to do this with Nakhla and Tangiers.

The latter won't vary that much on a day to day basis.

K1024
if its windy that will make your coals hotter, and will cut on their life span. try using a wind guard though im not sure how helpful they really are.

Sordino
I go to college in the mountains in Virginia...smoke outside in about 30 degree weather on average up here. Never had any of the problems which you describe, consider other sources than the cold.
