dizzing
well, supposedly they're our allies in fighting the "evildoers" in arab countries. so i could see both being correct, but you're right - he's an idiot. and the fact that his press secretaries corrected the statement rather than explained it proves that they definitely do not have their sh*t together. Sonthert
Even though Al Queda has a training base in Pakistan. Whew! Refer to Fahrenheit 9-11 and references to a natural gas pipeline running through Afghanistan. Bush sees all of these puppets as the same anyhow. Arab, Persian, Muslim, whatever. Puppets for his bidding and the rest of the G-8 and WMO.P.S. Arab and Muslim are neither synonymous nor opposite. The people of Malaysia are predominantly muslims (almost a billion!) and they speak Malay. Saying someone is an Arab is like saying somebody is Hispanic. Muslims refers to a religion. There are Arab Christians and Jews. In that light, not only does George W. look stupid. Excuse me, not look, is. Also the honorable Scott McClellan to say "he accidently said they spoke a certain language when he really meant they were of a certain religion. navynmr
The people of Malaysia are predominantly muslims (almost a billion!) and they speak Malay.
Just to correct you, not a billion, malaysia's population i think is roughly 23-25million. Majority are muslim, indonesia has the most muslims, they speak indonesian. Sonthert
There's something like one or 1.5 billion muslims in the world, right? A huge chunk of them are in Indonesia.
Lukasa
I think George's obvious difficulties with semantics are the least of anyone's concerns. He has a very real and very definitely planned agenda that is disastrous to the world as a whole. Even more troubling is his unabashed religious justifications and reasoning for what he does. Seperation between Church and... wait, what was it again??
Sonthert
No, they intend to amend the first amendment...it will now be called the "separation between church and church"
DarthHookah
you know, bush may be an idiot, he may be ruining the world, but at least i get to have my guns! i guarantee the next president will be very liberal, and the first order of business will be disarming the public. Sonthert
I don't believe that. I think the majority of the centrist democrats are not going to touch gun ownership. Moreover, I think the next president will be a moderate democrat. Howard Dean will not see his day in the next election.
hookah~rob~
i look at it this way. if the government gets any more screwed up then we will experience what every other country has experienced within the last few centuries. we are the worlds only remaining superpower. china is growing to be the new superpower. i hate to say it but it is entirely possible that history will repeat itself and we will fall into a series of events that will shake america to the ground and require a resstructuring. im light of recent world events the middle east conflicts are the most likely area that will effect the us with in the next 20 year. (assuming that north korea dosent nuke our west coast)
