I had to take a 7 day vacation for a similar incident. It was a complete accident and I didn't even realize I did it until I wasn't able to sign on. And it's nt like you can't still read it, you just can't log into your accoutn and post is all. And if it has made you a more careful person when posting, then the ultimate goal is served. It's supposed to be a lesson as well as a punishment. And ya, people get hacked on pretty hard in these threads, call it additional reinforcement that you don't want to get one made about you...But no one should take it personally. And hell, if you have a question, ask me first. A fair number of members do and i tell them if its ok or not. I even tell soem folks to put that *I* said it was cool to avoid problems later. Believe me, dispite what some folks think, me and the mods arent on some sort of power trip where we look for people to ban or vacation.
