whitey456789
The other day I was smoking hookah, and my fireplace was going. Staring back at me were huge red pieces of already hot coals. So I grabbed one with my tongs and threw one on top of the bowl. It was surprisingly good. No taste imparted whatsoever, and ashed just like other natural wood coals. I am only burning natural firewood, do you guys see any problems with that or is that just like using any other natural wood coal?
Capt. Morgan
I've heard of people doing this before. Shouldn't be a problem unless your burn wood that would give off a flavor in the shisha.
cotsi95
Ive done it a few times too just make sure theres no chemicals in it (like those auto starting logs) the only problem i had was they went out pretty fast and i had to keep adding more. SimplexCoda
as long as its a good piece of hardwood that has been burning for a while it should be ok, I have done it before, like others have said sometimes it goes out fast, but then some times it doesnt. But yes as long as its legit firewood that was cooked all the way down to coal size its cool.
