Is The Packing For The Lucid Line Different?

I received my K-Cherry yersterday, and it looks like the regular packaging. I dont think it said lucid anywhere on the pachaging.

Yes, on the left side of the box where it says "Kashmir Cherry" it will say "Lucid, Lower Nicotine" if it doesn't you got sent the wrong type. Edited February 5, 2009 by soldier92

Have you smoked regular Tangiers before?

And by the way, what do you mean by if you can get it right? In my experience you can pack Lucid just like any other tobacco and smoke away (if Lucid is in fact what you were sent).

I have smoked bramble berry the regular kind, and it was way too harsh, and I didnt like the taste.

I am at work, so I have to go home and look at the packaging again to see what was sent to me.

I smoked it right away last night, so I didnt let it acclimate, The taste came and went it seemed like it was really good. My prob. is I cant get these huge clouds everyone talks about. The smoke seems too harsh, and not that thick.

Although I have to say last night I came pretty close.............the smoke was thicker (not huge though)
And I could kinda taste the cherry.

It seems you may not be packing enough tobacco or possibly too much coal. Tangiers needs considerably less coal than most other brands of shisha. What kinda bowl are you smoking out of and how much coal are you using ?

Medium phunnel////////////jap square coals 2 attached squares each side I have a small phunnel too but haven't tried it yet

was the smoke thin and super harsh? if so it definitely wasn't packed enough. if you aren't used to it, it looks like an insane amount of tobacco. especially the medium phunnel.

It wasnt super harsh just not that smooth.

Try smoking another bowl packing it the same way you were, use a little less coal on it, see what happens. If that doesn't provide the results you want, try packing the bowl a bit differently and go back to your regular coal use. Just experiment, you'll get it eventually.

All the lucid I've gotten comes with an orange label where the flavor is listed, and the regular has yellow label where flavor is listed. For the F-Line it was yellow with a special little mark that said F-Line. Hope that helps, check the color on that label and let us know what you find. Also, it's hard to get smoking well but once you get it, it's GREAT! Check out some of the how-to videos, I know several folks on the forum have links in their signatures for how-to's with Tangiers.
