FamiliarJoe
I have a phunnel bowl (I think the large or medium one) I bought from my local smoke shop..but the grommet it comes with didnt seal it on any of my hookahs! The piece where the bowl sits on the hookah was to small and it just sat inside of the clay bowl not sealing off any air. It was more of a cover than a seal. How do you get your phunnel bowl to fit? I think I might of just gotten a bad phunnel bowl from my shop (or they just sell bad ones)Thanks for your help!

Or use the thin mya grommets...
joytron
did you try it with your other grommets? im kinda confused about the problem.
kbCorruption
I would order a new grommet. In the mean time you can use a wet paper towel wrapped around the stem to create a seal. You could also use electrical tape. Just build it up with the tape, enough so that the grommet makes a proper seal.
mushrat
i use the grommets that came with the qt and have no problem. is it a real phunnel or a chinese knock off?

Zinite
Pictures of the phunnel please.Try using multiple grommets. If that doesn't work, use electrical tape under the grommet,
EternalSoil
everyone phunnels have come with grommets?i have bought 2 and neither did...Mya and KM grommets work though.
inino
wet paper towel is your best bet. i use them all the time.
Squeekr
If the bowl is to big and wont seal just tear off a piece of paper towel bout thumb size in width then fold it in half. Wrap it around the grommet and if that is too big then just tear a little piece off at a time till it fits

I'm worried I'll damage it
srawas89
Chances are u may damage ur grommet unless you are VERY VERY VERY careful and have a ton of patience. Otherwise I would simply stick with the paper towel method. It has worked great for my friend after his grommet melted at a party a couple weeks ago....coals and rubber dont mix lol. mustang_steve
If you stick the grommet on the stem first then add the bowl, may I suggest putting the grommet in the bowl then sticking that on the stem?It can make a difference...it's about the only way I can get my chinese phunnel to fit snugly.
