Which Hookah ?

Recommended Posts

Firt, sorry for my english, I'm French biggrin.gif

So, I actualy own a Mya QT (known as Mya Chic on Hookah-shisa.com) but I need to buy a 2 hose Hookah, due to the "appetite" of my friends for hookah

I hesitate between those two :

or the "new" Mya Gelato, with 2 auto seal valve, based on this

http://www.shisha-world.com/nocache/MYA+Ge...c1234050115.htm

(yeah I know it's a german site, but including the shipping costs, they're more affordable than french website)

I really enjoy my Mya Chic, but i read somewhere that using natural coals, those kind of little hookah might get hot, and so does the smoke, and it may spoil the smoke. I mostyl smoke Romann Tobacco, so I need much heat. Is this real, or another Urban Legend ?

Is smoking on a 2 hose hookah as enjoying as smoking on a 1 hose hookah ?

Which of the 2 hookahs would you advice me to buy ?

Sorry for my english biggrin.gif

You could always just add another hose to yours, all you need to do is buy an adopter.

Might also be a great idea. But I seem to be enable to completely remove the security valve, a part on keeps in the column, which seems to be soldered (or i didn't try to unscrew hard enough), the part where the head is screwed

Place a cloth over the purge valve, take some needle nose pliars and go to town. The base of the purge valve unscrews too.

someone should do a picture tutorial for him

that's okay, I understood, the main problem was that I didn't know the vavle connector was screwed, even if I tried to unscrew it few months ago (but without any " needle nose pliars", because I didn't want to damage my hookah.

And last question, are the cleaning solutions sold on hookah-shisha really efficient ? My hookah is dirty as hell.

Don't waste your money. You can use any of the following:

Lemon Juice
Isopropyl Alcohol (rubbing alcohol)
Vodka
Beer
Baking soda mixed in hot water
Orange Juice
A few tablespoons of salt mixed in hot water

Just pour any of those in, cover up as many holes as you can and shake it up til your arms are tired. Rinse very well and let dry.

I have the Gelato and I love it, but you only need to buy the two hose attatchments for your qt to use two hoses and not have to plug one of them

Ageed. This will fix you right up. I got one for my QT, and it works quite well. I'd suggest getting two to replace the standard one on the pipe though. Then you'll have a two hose pipe with both having autoseal.
