K1024
eventually im going to do the boiling water in base thing, well maybe not boiling but very close. but first i want a thing to cool down the smoke after it goes through the water, as i dont think i would enjoy breathing in hot hot smoke... I can't take credit for finding this out. I don't remember who it was on here but a couple of years back somebody posted that the accidently did that one time because after they put the coals on they got to piddling around a few minutes before they started smoking and it and it was the best session they got. For whatever reason it really works. Since then though I was getting really burnt out on Tangs because the high nicotine and there was not a washed version at the time. Now that there is a washed version I wanna give that a try again. I like to smoke at least an hour per session without having to force myself through it. It's kinda like eating peppers that taste really good but are seriously kicking your ass (and you know before the night is up they are going to be kicking your ass literally ) Your mouth is on fire and you're sweating but you do "just one more" about 6 times. For those of you that have some Tangs you oughta give it a try.
soldier92
Just Tangiers? Why not other brands?I've got lucid and regular, how long would you put them in the microwave? Would it be better to cook it some other way? On a stove? You were still talking about heating up the tobacco right?

On a stove? You were still talking about heating up the tobacco right?Well, I can get a bowl of everything else I tried ging really well without that. Since Tangs is a different breed of dog it dos not smoke the same as the other stuff does which I think is why so many peeps get frustrated and give up. Since it has worked phenominal with the coals sitting a bit I figure it would be the best candidate to try that with. Maybe put enough for a bowl in a small kitchen type bowl covered with a wrung out wet cloth and heating it kinda like you would tortillas on a low heat so you don't dry it out or burn it and ruin it just like that ruins torillas (after talking about peppers and tortillas I'm getting a mean hankerin for Mezcan food!) If the preheat is what makes the difference then this may just work well.
soldier92
Hmm, this is an interesting theory, next time I pack tangiers I'll try letting the coals sit on the bowl first, and if I don't notice a difference doing that I'll go all out and actually cook the stuff.
