MountainMan22
Im a first time poster here! I recently got into Hookah and a friend of mine gave me some Tangiers Kashmir Cherry. I was told to let it sit out in the air before I smoke it. Is there any specail concerns that I should keep in mind. This whole idea of letting it set out over night is new to me because I have been smoking Hookah Hookah tobacco. Any advice would be great. Thanks. thecyrax
You're not supposed to "dry" it, you're getting it used to the humidity where you are.Just let it sit out, spread out a good amount, and mix it every once in a while.

Thanks. The Tangiers wiki can help with some of your concerns it can be seen here: Tangiers WikiAlso search for "Tangiers" in the search on the bottom, and you will see that there has been a lot of discussion about the topic. When I first came on here I read most of those post as was able to get Tangiers to work pretty darn well.Obviously, if you have any other questions, the forums can be really helpful, but the idea with tangiers is pretty much, let it sit out until it smells good, then pack it in the bowl nice and tight and you should be good to go. jeremyk
yeah i would check the tangiers wiki some great info in there to getting tangiers to smoke as best as possible. the whole point of leaving it out is to let it acclimate to the humidity in the air around you so that it smokes better. usually you can tell when its getting close to being ready because it will start to smell like the flavor its suppose to be instead of like soy sause
