a cliche affair
Hey guys, i'm Brandon, i'm 19 and live in Minnesota. (maybe a half hour from MNhookah, score)Anyways, ive smoked at local lounges a few times and will be buying a hookah in roughly a month. Ive done a TON of reading and research around the boards and have decided on this setup. Thoughts?Mya QT, black base.Nammor hose.Diffuser.Tangiers small phunnel.I'll also be ordering some tangiers "lucid," as it seems like one of the best shisha options for me. (quality product, LONG smoke and flavor, not a huge pricetag etc.)For flavors i'm thinking about K cherry, horchata and watermelon. Sound good? Also, are the lucid flavors listed on hookah-shisha the only flavors currently offered in the lucid line? Thanks much, i'm looking forward to learning more! MWlax00
you are absolutely GOLDEN.Just dont expect to get tangiers right the first few times you try it. itll take some trial and error. your flavors are perfect.I would order some nakhla or something also just to keep around when your tangiers wont work. also good for a first smoke.best of luck
ilikemyusername
sounds like you're right on the money, qt's smoke really nicely, especially with a razan or nammor hose.i love my qt with razan and small phunnel setup, just dont expect a small phunnel to be small. theyre huge. Victim026
He shouldnt have the normal tangier's issue since he's getting Lucid. Your setup and shisha choices look great you'll have good luck with all of it.
Stuie
With that setup you are made in the shade.

I'll use a scalli mod with it to shorten the sessions a bit and use less shisha.
joytron
great order! you will be getting plumes of tasty smoke in no time.but is the diffuser necessary?
tinyj316
Such a refreshing change of pace... a new member who actually reads the forums before he posts... You shouldn't be disappointed with your purchases. That's a fine setup, and should do you well for a while.I don't know if the diffuser will fit in the QT. Its not something that I've found to be that big of a deal with the smaller hookahs though...

I might just skip that part and save the $10. I enjoy the bubbling noise anyways.
Kapten Kanel
Really nice, you obviously have done some reading As i understand it you shouldnt have any problem with the lucid tangiers, thats what i should have ordered but instead i thought i was the hookah master and now ive wasted like 120g of caffeinated orange soda... Stuie
actually the difusser comes with a small and a large and the small works perfectly on the QT, I do it often.
MWlax00
good call, IMO the diffuser doesn't really do anything but quiet the bubbling, which i love the bubbling. i have your exact set up, minus the tangiers
Click
Looks like a great order. What coals are you going to be using. You could try the Starlight Coconut Coals from MNH.

Arcane
i'd second the suggestion on skipping the diffuser...there's several methods on making your own and they're all fairly cheap, sometimes even free!and, i'm not sure how long you want to be smoking, but if you want to continue using a phunnel...i'd suggest you get a mini phunnel. the small phunnel states it holds 40-50g of shisha and a lot of people have told me that 2-3 hours worth. MNH offers a glass blown mini at $24, which would hold 15-20g for roughly a 1hr session. or you can make/buy the scalli mod and shorten your session and save shisha that way too.hope all goes well for you! Yeah, i'm thinking about going with the glass one instead, just for it's size. Rarely do I want to sit and smoke a single flavor for hours on end, it'd be nice to mix it up without wasting a ton of shisha. From what I hear, tangiers burns forever anyways.
