Tangiers In New York?

just take a look at your change in dew point from day to day on weather.com or something. In MA it jumped a great amount just about every day with the exception of certain weeks. That is what sealed the deal for me and I no longer buy tang unless i really really want K-peach, then i break down and buy 250 and only use it when i find weather to be relatively consistent.

I do think it's worthwhile to check the weather, in particular the humidity and dew point, but... never having done that, I smoke Tangiers (and only Tangiers) at home, in Elmont, NY (on Long Island). For those occasional sessions slightly off because of a significant weather change, most other experiences are just fine.

hmm ... weird ... i don't know maaang, had good bowls, and had many bad bowls, same packing method every time, same amount of coals every time ... acclimated and acclimated and the shit would never smell right ... it's the only thing that makes sense. Is there anything else that accounts for it when getting it to its correct state to smoke ... any one know?
