I was trying to make peach and the shortcut did not work But I fired up the other from yesterday and it smoked even better it seems. The video was kind of a train wreck as when any exeriment is not going to satisfaction. The last part of course got better because I switched to what already worked yesterday. As you can tell in the last vid I am pretty tired from not sleeping well thinking about this shit 24/7. Nothing better when you are tired and feel like shit than a nice cold Shinerbock (still the breakfast of CHAMPIONS BTW!) I have a fridge in my garage for Shiner and growing odd fungii on things I forget about. While reaching for said Shiner I noticed a bowl that looked vaguely familiar..... I forgot I had a Sangria wine flavor experiment. It smelled really good but I threw a little peppermint in for good measure. I dragged the sht up to the study and setup the camcorder. We have two flavors now folks. It was smoking really good to start with and as I smoked it after recording stopped it was getting better by the minute. I like it more than the first batch. It seems like wine flavors in Shisha agree with me very well. I like the smell of a lot of wines but I am not a wine kinda guy (real shocker there!) But that got me to thinking that with the variety of wines and liqours out there that there much be a metric shitload that would taste damn good. Shiner even said that was effin brilliant but she's just jealous and would like to see all other alcohols go up in smoke!!! sorry beOtch! but I digress What do you guys think about a liquor line? I can still infuse other flavors. My "entry" was Chambord the French frambois raspberry liquor. There's another one from Israel called Sabra that is a combination of oranges and chocolate. If I could find those two in shisha (herbal or tobacco) I'd just assume heaven finally got to earth...... A good friend of mine is in Jordan right not and I will see if he can score some Sabra. Hopefully these are not expensive. Most of the expensive stuff I tried I haven't liked. The only other smoke I've seen to pull that off is Tangiers but it usually follows with a hardcore buzz, even with Lucid at times. I feel ya on the peach scalli its one of my all time faves as well. lets hope your next round of testing works out better How heat sensitive is this stuff? I see you use 3K but i never been a fan of 3K so I'm not sure how much heat it puts out compared to japanese coals or my lovely exoticas. I decided not to fight that fight for now. With two Threes it smokes great 30 minutes straight at least without touching them even once when they get low start another, move the two over one hole and the new one to a hole and rotate new ones as needed. My thought was that this idea involves at least two distinct cultures, native American and Middle Eastern/?. America is a big melting pot of nationalities and while some peeps are traditionalists I kinda like mixing up thhe best of all worlds. The foods, entertainment, women... (hope Ms. Scalli don't see this! ) But I do believe in variety. I'm leaning towards a name that reflects combining cultures and sounds really cool. I even checked some French translations because they have some cool sounding words. Still looking for a fit. I think I'll make a thread and have two contests. The person that comes up with a name and the person that comes up with a logo gets a free kilo. Don't PM anything because I don't want no arguments with peeps saying they PM'ed the same name.
