MeHT
When I have to use low-end coals I get stones in them most of the time.
Voski
One time at a hookah lounge the coal boy put a rock on my bowl along with two coals. When I went to ash the coals I noticed it was a rock...

MechAnt
Some coals I've used such as Nour coals or a locally made coal in my town does ash off small pebble/rocks. Not a clue what it is.

Lemonjello
It's your lucky rock! If I were you I'd carry it around with me everywhere I went!!!! A sign from a greater being saying you are going to rock your day today, and you know what? I believe you will!
mushrat
You will find a lot of rocks like that in Nour Coals, which are NOT cheap, cut rate coals. I suspect they use the old method of making charcoal, taking logs/wood, burrying it in the ground and subjecting them to a slow burn. I suspect the rocks are picked up when the charcoal is int he ground. Why they don't filter them ou t when they are crushing and reforming the actual charcoal? who knows, probably takes to long.
