TheScotsman
QUOTE (Dylank0010 @ Feb 19 2009, 08:23 PM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}>lol, a modded talon that feeds on muscle cars because no one else can build an "import" (assembled in Illinois I believe), that can even compete. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LiSptlw-L_Uno nitrous. enough said.Granted, it won't ever set any records on the nurburgring, but for probably about what a SRT4 costs MSRP, you could stomp that hennessey in 1/4. even if both had street tires, venom 1000s run high 9s. i'd still buy the viper if i had the $$ just simply for the number of heads you'd turn and the number of fine females that would come out of the woodwork.oh and Eagle was developed by Chrysler after they bought AMC in 87.The Eagle brand started with AMC... in 1980. I would venture that is why it was called an AMC EAGLE. It was a complete hooptie-wagon, crappy fluid coupled 4x4 transfer case, joke of a drive line made from off-the-shelf CJ driveline components, solid axel in front... and a hornet body... (or worse... a gremline) powered by a smoking hot 110 hp inline six (in your choice of 232 or 258 cubes). Then the badge got stuck on renault 25's as the eagle premier when AMC was doing that french thing. (and what destroyed AMC). I guess when I think Eagle, I have a vision of this... http://www.amceaglenest.com/history1982.html. Ugh! I'm blind!!!!!

I'm blind!!!!!I don't see how a model constitutes and entire company. especially after the model was discontinued, the company was bought out, and a partnership with Mitsubishi was formed. I guess I don't think of Eagle(the company) as being headlined by an AMC Eagle because it was discontinued before I was born. You are so right though, that thing is impressively ugly.
