FPSee Posted February 18, 2009 Share Posted February 18, 2009 yeah, im trying to make my own design on my base but the paint on it is really stubborn when trying to scrape it off. anybody know any liquids that would weaken the paint, to make it easier to scrape off? thanks in adv. Hobbs Posted February 18, 2009 Share Posted February 18, 2009 If you were gonna use paint thinner or some other caustic chemical I would recommend putting a cork or stopper in the top of the base to prevent accidental splashage or fumes from getting in... even with a thorough washing it would be terrible to spend the night on your knees in front of the toilet. ilikemyusername Posted February 18, 2009 Share Posted February 18, 2009 brake fluid, but it takes along time.i had an mz vase that i couldnt get the paint off of for the life of me, i threw it on the grill hoping the fire would burn it off... bad idea, it broke, shattered and exploded, i dont know why, anyway..
