Forum Appreciation Day

Recommended Posts

Hello,
Just wanted to thank forumites and founders for the wealth of information here.
I am a rank noob at hookah, but thanks to you folks, have made good in-roads early on, and few flubs.
I learned early on to get a Walgreens hotplate for cooking coals(man that saves a lot of mess and trouble-I use it in the fireplace, all the fumes go out-no smell), use a wide hose, which tobaccos will more likely satisfy me, as well as many other details. I scored an excellent Nour from Scoop, and well, I'm off and running.
The reviews section is SO well organized. They help me decide on stuff, although they can also lead to extra purchases wink.gif
I am enjoying my Nahkla shishas very much, even with this damn cold. Can't wait til I get a clear snout. So far I've tried Licorice, Zaghloul, Apple and Apricot. All just lovely. Next up in the mail - Desi Murli. From the reviews, this Desi looks challenging and fun!
Thanks again, and Cheers!

I'll jump on the bandwagon too...

I've only been here for a short period of time but have gained a great deal of knowledge. While I had been smoking for several years, it was all trial and error on my own. Now I think I have a few tricks up my sleeve thanks to the posters here happy.gif

I keep making mistakes and being tremendously frustrated dry.gif but I feel it's in part because I know there's so much better than I can aspire to.

So thanks biggrin.gif

if it had not been for this forum, i either would be smoking harsh bowls from a dirty hookah or, more likely, not at all. Special thanks to mushrat, JD, and all the mods who have to deal with so much crap so the rest of us have a nice pace for discussion. Special thanks to IV for getting me in the mini phunnel deal, and doing a hell of a job organizing it. Thanks to many ofs the forum members who have given such great advice to a noob like me. You all a great bunch of people
