If you want horrible (/fuckedup), check out "The quiet". It now officially beats Borat as the worst possible first date movie ever. In fact, i am AMAZED it found distribution, if at all.

I am also a huge fan of
- the Heavy Metal animation movie
- Flesh Gordan ( cuz it's hilarious. And it's got a sex ray from outer space!)
- Crash ( the cronenberg movie, not that crappy drama bullshit movie)

Some really messed up movies (a few were already mentioned):

Kitchiku Dai Enkai - the most vile thing I've seen put to film
Irreversible - excellent movie but will most likely destroy any faith you might have had in humanity
Ichi the Killer
Suicide Club
Dead Alive
Poultrygeist: Night of the Chicken Dead
Versus

That's all I can think of off the top of my head.

Heh, boxing my ass. However, I LOVE Guy Ritchie's work. Snatch, Lock Stock and 2 Smoking Barrels, etc...

lol, there is some boxing in it. Really there is no way to some up the plot of this movie in less than 2 paragraphs

for some reason the bad really stick with me more so than the good.

my list for the bad is headlined by "In The Name of the King." I know a LOT of people like Jason Statham but this was like a LOTR ripoff that was paid for with bubblegum wrappers and paper clips.

This might offend some people but for the hype, I was disappointed with Pineapple Express.

The other one I've seen recently that just made me scratch my head was Behind Enemy Lines 2. I forgot the exact title but the one that came out recently without Gene Hackman or Owen Wilson.

For good movies I'll just make a list w/o the expanations

The Illusionist
V for Vendetta
LOTR
Body of Lies
Traitor
Felon
American Gangster
The Kingdom
Gladiator
Shooter
The Departed
Saving Private Ryan

I'm sure there's others but I'm out for now

Oh boy. Where to begin.

Some of my favorites that I think are must sees:

Pulp Fiction
Every Guy Ritchie movie (Snatch, Lock Stock and 2 Smoking Barrels, Rock 'n Rolla)
Apocalypse Now (I love the directors cut, but it's ridiculously long)
The Shining
Full Metal Jacket
Clockwork Orange
2001: A Space Oddyssy (How the hell do you spell that?)
Dr. Strangelove Or "How I learned to Stop Worrying and Love the Bomb" (Love this movie)
Reservoir Dogs
Batman: Dark Knight
Eternal Sunshine of The Spotless Mind (Speaking of wierd movies this one takes the cake, but is still really good)
Airplane! (Oh, man, if you haven't seen this yet you should be shot)
This is Spinal Tap
V for Vendetta (I love this movie, but no one else I talk to seems to, oh well)

I'll post more as I think of them that should be enough to get you started.

I agree with Dylank about Pineapple Express. It was hilarious and good, but not as much as it was made out to be, same goes for the Dark Knight.

Others in no order:
Shaun of the Dead
Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas
Detroit Rock City
National Lampoon's Van Wilder, Vacation Series
The Big Lebowski

Ehh, yea I'm more of a comedy guy
