newjacksm
What glycerin do you get and where(major stores)? I am thinking about purchasing glycerin but I dont really know where to get it by me. There really isn't any huge food store I could go into and pick it up. The only place I could think of going to is CVS but CVS might carry the kind thats used for your skin is this type of glycerin ok?
Click
I read about Glycerin for over 30 minutes last night. So long I know how to convert it into nitroglycerin and blow shit up. Exaggerating but only barely. After all of that, I still am not quite sure what kind. There are two kinds. One kind is from animal fat and the other is from plants. One is USP grade which is used for pharmaceuticals and the FDA monitor and regulates the shit out of it. I have heard complaints that certain vegetable kinds can add an odd taste to the shisha, but this differs between brands. In summary, I am not sure. Do you have a Michaels Arts and Craft Store in your area. Or go to local stores/grocery stores and look where they keep there cake designing stuff. You may find some there. AKammenzind
Do yourself a favor and buy online, it's much cheaper (usually around 4x cheaper than local stores from what I've seen, in larger quantities too). I just went and got the bottle I've been using, it's branded "now" brand and says personal care vegetable glycerine 100% pure. Cleans, softens and moisturizes your skin. My group has gone through probably 16oz or so of this particular brand and it's worked great. Really doesn't matter what brand though, as long as it's pure glycerine it's all good. JDHarding
I read that any glycerine is fine to use, vegetable or otherwise.I myself got a bottle of vegetable glycerine I bought off of Amazon. I don't use it often, but I should start using it in my dry Nakhla and Desi Murli.
ColibriDon
I use a brand that comes in a purple bottle and a silver cap. It says it cleans, softens, and moisturizes your skin. It's certified for both internal and external use and, yes, I have eaten a little bit. It tastes really bitter and kind of sweet. Not too great to eat but great to smoke. It's food grade stuff and some people use it as a sweetener.

mattarios2
oh man ... worlds of a difference that is what makes the clouds the glyc. Seriously if you add glyc the clouds are as big as any other shisha you have ever smoked but with nakhla ... pause ... think for a sec ... ya I know AMAZING! It mainly produces large clouds, and acts to keep it wet. Health risks are the same as those inherent to smoking shisha, as it's already present to begin with. You add it like well... it's common sense. Like adding milk to cereal, or maple syrup to oatmeal, or olive oil to a hummus spread, or sauce to stir-fry... AKammenzind
Yes. I'm not seeing why it wouldn't be? I've been doing it all the time, freshly homemade shisha is great.
newjacksm
I wasn't sure if I had to let it sit out and let it soak in a bit, but its really not all that drippy how ever this honey is giving my DA a reall good honey after taste and its the BEST... This honey is the best honey I had and its really hard to get my hands on it.
Boricua
Last night I bought my first bottle of Glycerin at CVS. I found it in the aisle with all the hand and body lotions. It looks like a hand sanitizer bottle and it says Pure Glyrecin
