Aaronvb24
I read on this forum about people making their own using tea leaves. I was wondering how popular this was and I do not know if there is already a forum detailing it all a pointer would be grateful. Also for those who have done this any instruction, insight, and tips and tricks.Oh also if you have great combos that would be awesome to know too. jellywerker
Are you talking about making tea or tea flavored shisha?

Aaronvb24
Tea shisha instead of using tobacco. Someone did a Chai Vanilla and said it tasted amazing. Sorry for the vagueness. I want to try to make my own shisha using Tea leaves instead of tobacco and was also wondering what glycerin to use for best smoke.

jellywerker
http://www.hookahforum.com/index.php?s=&am...st&p=332109He didn't use the chai as tobacco, just added it to the tobacco for flavor.
Hippo_Master
It doesn't really matter what is being used as the base of the recipe. I'm sure if the tea leaves were thick enough they would be fine. Tea has a very light taste though, in all blends, and it definitely will not come out when it is cooked with glycerine/honey. Gave me a splitting headache.haha that doesn't sound fun... It's basically the coffee of South America, with less flavor complexity. I don't see how that would translate well into hookah smoke!!
