JDHarding
I'm not sure if I'm blowing too hard when purging smoke from the hookah, but I'm getting either water or some sort of moisture, possibly from all the smoke, in my purge valve. This is rusting the inside of the valve, and, sadly, the ball bearing too. My hookah is a chinese rip-off of a mya, but does not have a mya style purge valve. It's a pretty good valve, but the water/moisture is a problem.I'm wondering if there's a way to replace this valve with another, since it unscrews just like a mya valve does. But I've heard Mya valves suck at purging.

Zinite
Replace the ball bearing with a plastic air soft gun ball. Works wonders.
Cybersist
Well if your purge is rusting you got some big issues. Rust particles getting in the base or chamber can potentially lead to you inhaling rust, which is not good.As for why its happening, when you take a draw water particles mix with the air and you get a mist type thing going on... this leads to water building up on the inside of your valve. Stuie
if it's a small hookah you have to purge slowly water will get in the purge, but Zinite is right replace the bearing with a airsoft bb. I do it on all mine except my KM...haven't taken the time to go find one big enough yet. But 6mm airsoft bb should work for you.
JDHarding
It's probably the stupid ball bearing that's rusting, and not the chamber itself. All the more reason to get a plastic one.
