Help With My Cat!

Recommended Posts

so, I've found this cat outside my apartment a couple weeks ago. since then, i've started feeding it and giving it water, and it's getting very attached to my porch. I'm starting to think that it would want to stay, and I could adopt it. It doesn't have any collars or tags, and i've allready made appotinments with the vet to get it checked out, but i've been having trouble coming up with a good name for it.

To help get your imput, i've attached some pictures that i took this afternoon

No lie, this happened to a friend of mine..the next door neighbors cat basically just moved in to his house. The neighbors ended of leaving all their cat food on his front porch about a week later lol.

As for a name, how about shade, or breezy . lol now I am just typing in random letters and looking on Macs suggestions for correcting the spelling...those are some words it gave me haha. Galosh, Welsh, Shiraz, Stymie, Ethelda.

Sly, he looks pretty Sly or tricksy if it's a girl. My girlfriend and i were going to name our cat layalina but we went with matilda instead! haha. You could go with Leila. I don't know, i suck at names.

I actually like random Mac suggestion Shiraz. That's a pretty cool name, I think your cat would dig it.

in my experience with cat's, they respond best to names that have an ie/y ending. but it sounds more like this cat chose you, you shouldn't give it a name at all, beyond a reference to when it shows up on your porch, or some inclination that this cat has excepted you to take responsibility for it. I would suggest something along the lines of: Moi ("muwah" french for "it's me") , bro, gramps (mostly as a reference to it's color), unauthorized-tax-writeoff-dependent-code named "john" (only works if you wink while saying it)

Khalil for a boy. Mya for a girl. idk if you specified male/female. I also like Tango for a boy (short for Tangiers). I guess you could name him Fakher but your neighbors might think you're yelling something else assuming he knocks over a vase or something....

I like the smoke name, or cloud, he's gray-ish in the pic so something like that would work, can't see who suggested it above but I agree with him. Although Khalil sounds good too haha, can't wait I think I'm gonna get me a KM when I get my tax rebate.
