HewkInc
Fellow hookah enthusiasts, My name is Rob Scubelek, and I have been knocking hookahs over in attempts to pass hoses for almost three years. About a year ago, I decided to solve the problem once and for all, and constructed a rotating base for my hookah. Designed to simulate the rotating stem pieces usually found in more high-end hookahs, my solution can be used with virtually any hookah, with no modification to the hookah itself. After a year of using my trusty rotating base, I've decided to make my solution available to hookah smokers everywhere, because I'm sure that I'm not the only one who is tired of burn marks in my carpet. I will be putting up pictures of my product within the next two days, once I construct a more refined version of my prototype. I will be distributing it through eBay, local hookah bars, and online hookah forums. The point of this post is to feel out the market a bit, to find out how many hookah bases I should produce. The Rotating Hookah Base will most likely be priced at $29.95 USD.
MechAnt
I answered yes and no to this one. Yes, I would buy a rotating thing that would require no modification but no on your product unfortunately. It's as easy as going out and paying $6 USD and buying a Gladware lazy susan from K-Mart. K1024
sounds like youve invented a lazy susan...
jellywerker
It's a good idea, and some people would buy it, but I'll stick to my cheap lazy susan.
Hobbs
Depending on the design & craftsmanship yes and no. If it's something I could easily replicate no, if it's something that stands out to me though then yes.
kryptiq
If its unique and colorful then I might pay for it.
SuburbanSmoker
Honestly if you cant make it into something that we already can make easily (as many people just use a "lazy susan") i dont think youll have much success. on the plus side if its unique it could really have a big presence in the hookah culture.Just my thoughts.
